Each person who comes to a Rice facility, whether needing rehabilitation, extended care, assisted or independent living, will experience personal, quality care. We are a family owned organization, not a national chain, with strong ties to the people of Wisconsin and to the communities we serve. Because we value the people of our Wisconsin communities, we take the trust they place in us very seriously and strive to offer the highest quality care possible.
We work to achieve and maintain quality care, helping each resident live life to the fullest. Whether you join our family as a part of an independent living community, assisted living, or skilled nursing facility, we invite you to experience the Rice Difference.
Skilled Nursing Care
Each resident in our skilled nursing facilities has a personal care plan designed to meet his or her individual needs. As a fundamental part of this plan, we pledge to maintain the dignity of each person and to help promote the highest level of independence possible.
Extended care services are available for those who can no longer live safely in their own home and who need medical management as well as help with the activities of daily living. The social interaction with others, the healthly meals and the ability to go on day-trips into the community, among other offerings can make all the difference – The Rice Difference!
We also offer rehabilitation resources. Oftentimes, people of any age who experience hip replacement, stroke, heart attack, or other illness, need rehabilitation but do not have the resources necessary at home. Rehabilitation in a skilled nursing home can be exactly what is needed to relieve this burden from the person needing rehabilitation and family caregivers.
Assisted living is often the best choice for people who require some assistance with activities of daily living but desire to retain the highest possible level of independence. Rice assisted living facilities are an excellent solution for individuals who would like to have their own living space within a community atmosphere.
There comes a time for many of us when caring for a home and yard becomes more of a chore than a pleasure. Independent living in a Rice residential care complex may be a great solution. Residents in independent living may or may not need health monitoring, basic nursing care, or medication administration and management. Because each resident has their own apartment, they can select from an array of services, adding services, if necessary, as they age. A resident can be wholly independent or may select a meal plan, laundry or other services.
